When: 1 Day, 8:30 am – 4 pm, on the Cal Poly Campus

Focus: Taking our understanding of NGSS to the next level including NGSS Assessments

June 26 – 29: Intensive Summer Institute 


Structure: Focused groups of strands differentiated by grade or grade band depending on participation rates.

~1 strand/20 teacher

Minimum of 3 strands: lower elementary, upper elementary, secondary

When: 4 days, 8:30 am – 4 pm, on the Cal Poly Campus

Embedded collaboration and implementation time

Focus: Embracing Science and Engineering Practices

Preparing for NGSS Assessments

Developing NGSS Teacher Leadership Capacity
